Weekend Update
It was a pretty chill weekend. Here's the breakdown:
- Friday night was fun. Hung would with Scuba, archived some CDs.
- Saturday was relaxed and mellow. We had dinner with the Manzellas, games, and ice cream.
- Sunday was cool, too. We had Scuba and Beaver over, and we watched Family Guy, then Urban Legend. We also went to Ted Drewes.
In a move that was completely expected, but still pretty damn sad, Erich had me on his mind even on his own wedding day, commenting [to Beaver] on how much Scott's speech sucked and how Scott didn't wanna really be my best man or be at my wedding...
Now, it's true, I do plenty of talking about Erich myself, but I do it out of ridicule and goofing on the stupidity of the situation. This whole deal, and Erich in general, is WAY too perfect of a target for countless jokes, goofs, and ridicule for me NOT to do it. Erich, on the other hand, actually obsesses for real. Hehe.
But hey, at least I got to hear an amusing story about the wedding from Beaver. I won't make fun of it here - oh heck, why not? I'll give the short and sweet version. :)
Party bus has no A/C. Erich freaks out, throws a tantrum, and starts bawling, 4-year-old style. Epps and a guy named Eric pull their cars behind and in front of the bus, so the guy can't leave. The driver calls the police, who then make Epps and Eric move their cars. Driver leaves to serve a wedding party not picky about A/C. Erich's parents bring their mini-van.
What makes this story hilarious is the tantrum part. The broken-party-bus part is actually common among weddings, as I've come to find out. OUR party bus experience was perfect [btw], but other people have had poor luck with it (it happened to Ben and Michelle, too).
In other news, Corey is going back to school, namely Meramec college. That's completely awesome, IMO. Also going back to school is "Big" Nate, which is also awesome. Continuing education is always cool to do, I think. I wish them both the best of luck.
The mp3 archiving is coming along nicely. I finally have all of my Gravity Kills archived, and backed up. As well as having most NIN done.
Nix is getting his own place. Congratulations, Nix!
There's going to be a large surge of Loaf-related updates in the near future, as we will be preparing to get this thing up and running as soon as humanly possible.
