Meow meow meow m-m-mw-meow meow!

I don't know why I find the Rally's Rap Cat commercial so goddamned hilarious. Maybe it's the right side guy's reaction, or the dance the left side guy dances. In any event, it is funny as hell. I think, at least.

Tomorrow I start my new job. I'm very, very excited about it, and a little nervous, but that's natural.

I was able to provide Beaver with a glowing reference on Tuesday for a gig with the DFS; I wish him all the luck in the world with it. The lady that called me seemed pretty impressed with what I had to say about Dan, with any luck he'll be getting a second interview soon.

Happy belated birthday to Andrea. We both apologize again for not being able to come out, that family deal ran way late to a little after midnight, and we were wiped out exhausted. We will go out with you to celebrate your birthday nice and proper soon.

Thank you to everyone who came to MY birthday celebration, it was quite awesome. It was made special thanks to all of you, and I appreciate all the love and support and everyone; you guys are the best.

Anyway, a post-gift holiday blog wouldn't be complete without a list here on Quilled Scripts:

$30 gift card to JC Penny
2 dress shirts (1 blue, 1 tan)
$20 in gift cards to McDonald's

Not a bad haul for a 28th birthday. I haven't used any of the McD's cards, and I have some stuff left on all the other gift cards. Here is what I got so far:

3 t-shirts from JC Penny

- The Nanny Season 2 (Heather's)

...and there you have it. Sorry about the lengthy nature of it all, I just had much to report in on, and hadn't taken the time to do it during the tedious job hunting phase.

Anyway, I go now to enjoy some dinner, a movie, and chillin' into the evening before the new day and world of my career dawns on us all. Talk to you all later!

New Job; Birthday report

I have finally found a new job. I am the new Project Engineer at NewGround, who builds banks and financial institutions around the country. It will give me skills I didn't have before, as well as strengthen the ones I have spent the last two years building in my construction career.

I want to thank everyone - without your support and backing, I wouldn't have been so motivated. You all believed in me, and I appreciate that more than you'll ever know.

I also want to thank Heather most of all...she continually stands by me and lifts me up when the chips are down. I love you baby.

My birthday went well. The party on Saturday was great fun, and it was awesome that everyone had such a good time. Amanda makes awesome cake, if you didn't know. I also got gifts, which I was not expecting at all (I didn't even ASK for gifts LOL). These last two months I've really been realizing how blessed and fortunate I am to have such a good life with friends, family, and whatnot. Love you guys!

To those who weren't at the party, I will be catching up to you guys soon so we can hang out and spend some time together. In the meantime, check back here on Quilled Scripts for all the latest and greatest.

COLLEGE

I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. I was a cheerleader.

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE

I ran for U.S. Congress and lost. I began my career in the oil business in Midland , Texas , in 1975. I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas . The company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock.

I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money. With the help of my father and our friends in the oil industry, including Enron CEO Ken Lay, I was elected governor of Texas .

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF TEXAS

I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union .

During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America

I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in borrowed money.

I set the record for the most executions by any governor in American history.

With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida , and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became President after losing by over 500,000 votes.

I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the U.S. stock market.

In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans lost their jobs and that trend continues every month.

I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in U.S. history. My "poorest millionaire," Condoleeza Rice, had a Chevron oil tanker named after her.

I set the record for most campaign fund-raising trips by a U.S. President. I am the all-time U.S. and world record-holder for receiving the most corporate campaign donations.

My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of my best friends, Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in U.S. History, Enron.

My political party used Enron private jets and corporate attorneys to assure my success with the U.S. Supreme Court during my election decision.

I have protected my friends at Enron and Halliburton against investigation or prosecution.

I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any President in U.S. history.

I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the largest bureaucracy in the history of the United States government.

I've broken more international treaties than any President in U.S. history.

I garnered the most sympathy for the U.S. after the World Trade Center attacks and less than a year later made the U.S. the most hated country in the world, the largest failure of diplomacy in world history.

I have set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously protest me in public venues (15 million people), shattering the record for protests against any person in the history of mankind.

I am the first President in U.S. history to order an unprovoked, pre-emptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of U.S. citizens, and the world community.

I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families-in-wartime.

In my State of the Union Address, I lied about our reasons for attacking Iraq and then blamed the lies on our British friends.

Congratulations to Sean and Joanna Ronnau. The wedding was awesome, and I'm happy to have a new brother to go with Dave, Jeremy, and Matt.

Extra special thanks goes to my man Joe Behrens, without whom Sean and Joanna's wedding song would have been something other than what they wanted.

Another Sunday

Hung with Joe this afternoon chatting about various things and watching cable. He allowed me to use his washer and dryer. Thank you much, Mr. Joe, I appreciate it.

Last night was great. In attendance were Scott, Amanda, Joe, Jason, Scuba, Amber, John, Posch, Kris, Willie, Andy, Big Nate, and Becky. It was a good time, and I was able to relax and kick back for the evening. If it's any indication of how my birthday gathering will go, I can't wait for the fun.

More interviews this week, wish me luck! And thank you all for the continued support and well wishes, I appreciate it more than you all realize.
