...the return of the king (of quill) (again)...
It's been awhile. I've been kinda busy for the holiday season. Sorry about that...
@Heather: You're going to love your Christmas presents this year. I guarentee it. Love you! Last night was awesome, baby...
As you may be able to tell, I got all my shopping done this past weekend. Now, all I have left is wrapping. The malls are NUTS this time of year, and it's a testament to my patience and pleasant nature that I was able to go the entire time smiling in the spirit of the season. :)
One of the bigger things in the works is the "Ultimate Guy's Night" planned for January 8th. If you don't know the details, here it is in a nutshell:
Jan. 8th - Scott's place - everyone brings at least $25 - contact Steve or Scott for more details.
There will be much alcohol and plenty of charred meat for everyone. It should be a good time; the rowdy guy's night we've talked about for a couple of years now.
The issue with Beaver has been hanging for a bit. Heather has made a decision that is her total right to make, and I fully support it. I know some don't understand, and some may think it harsh or unfair, but that's the deal nonetheless. I have yet to sit down for a talk with Beaver over everything, but that should happen as soon as this Christmas holiday stuff dies down. (As I said before, while I realize people don't want to hear it, this IS my journal.)
I need to set aside some time this January to rebuild some of my swords. I fully plan on making a trip or two down to Springfield this spring for some foam sword action. I miss it. Not that I can't sword fight HERE. Dave and Scott are better at it than they give themselves credit for, and I've come to find Nix does amp-guard type stuff himself. However, I've yet to find two sword fighters who give me as good a run for my money as Tom and Jon.
Well, in case I don't get to update again before Christmas, have a good one and bless you all!
