...wacky, wild wednesday...

Contrary to the title of this entry, there's very little wild OR wacky about today. But then, the day isn't over yet...

Anyway, last night was "Metal Fest" at the Red Sea on the U-City Loop. Beaver and I rode down together. We met the new drummer and vocalist for Scarlet Whore, he's a pretty cool guy. Divulsion was pretty good. Very loud, very hard, metal goodness. My ears are still cloggy a bit. We also checked out Vintage Vinyl while there. Those were the good points of the evening.

The bad points are that I had to leave early, and I got touched and hugged by a toothless, homeless black man. Not that there's anything "wrong" with him - I just didn't wanna be hugged by a stranger, much less a bum who's probably trying to pick my pocket LOL. [At least I wasn't unbelievably cruel and inhumane to the less-fortunate like SOME total asshole I could name *cough* Jay *cough*.]

This weekend is camping at Montauk State Park with Heather's family. Should be a lot of fun.

Current events? Let's see what I have in my bag...

- Nix moved into his own apartment at Covington Place. It's a pretty sweet little pad.

- Corey and Nicole have apparently broken up. I'm not clear on the reason behind it, but from what I heard from Corey, it's because he decided to go visit Scott. Since he told me this, they may have rectified the situation, so stay tuned.

- "Milstadt" is back from his honeymoon. That means that he gets to have his job back from Heather's brother (who's the college summer worker he claims to "supervise", who actually supervises HIM). Now poor Jeremy gets to sit in the passenger seat and ride around from school to school, delivering paper and supplies, rather than drive the truck himself.

- Nine Inch Nails is coming to St. Louis on October 14th, and I will be there. Scott picked up a ticket for me before he went out of town this last time. There will be several other people there as well, but that's a moot point. If they all got sick the day of the show and couldn't be there, I would only be worried if something was going to stop ME from attending. Nails alone or with friends is still Nails. ;)

- "Milstadt" is also the cause of yet more controversy. I was originally going to refrain from even talking about it here, but why should I? I'll keep the explanation of it short and sweet, though (I mean it this time):

Erich told Angel Bone that I was going around talking shit about her. Not only have I never said a bad word about Angel, but I also haven't been around Erich in any capacity for him to hear me say anything. Either he's now decided to lie on me outright in an attempt to turn people against me; or he figures that since I did it to Toni (which is also untrue, btw - Erich just THINKS I did that), I probably did it to Angel, too. *end explanation*

Either way you slice it, it seems that Erich truly has NOTHING better to do than to concentrate on me. [Just look at the track record:

He thought about beating me at his own bachelor party AND his wedding; he told Dan he started the Growler's card just to get his mug before me - since I "am the first to do everything"; he was all for the "plan" with the girl's night that wasn't really a girl's night; in picking out his wedding party in the beginning, he publicly stated that he was going to go to all lengths to exclude me from it, to "teach me a lesson"; he publicly states all the time that I was the person who "turned all his friends against him and against Toni", when the exact opposite was true.]

I've since talked to Angel - and Joe - and set things straight. And it's not like Erich could actually cost me any friendships with his bullshit. It's just so damn funny that Erich does things like this, and then turns around and calls ME the asshole, and says that I'M the one in competition with HIM.

And yeah, with as much as I touch on the subject - here and in person - it certainly appears that I am just as obsessed with Erich, and that it bothers me. Appearances can be deceiving, however...

I guess I am an asshole in the respect that I get joy and find pleasure in using my talent to crack an insult and ridiculing a situation, idea, and sometimes people. This whole thing with Erich is just too juicy and perfect of a target for me to pass up, which is why I make so many goofs on it, and him, respectively.

In regards to this stuff bothering me - well, that really depends on what you mean. I was certainly "bothered" when Heather was being victimized because of some kind of problem with me. The fact that people are being told lies about me "bothers" me SLIGHTLY, in the same way a fly might bother me buzzing around my face - annoying, but EASILY remedied. The entire debacle overall "bothers" me in a "Man, that's just one of the most pathetic things I've ever heard of in my entire life; how could someone BE so childish and immature?" type of way. And, of course, the fact that I lost a once-great friendship in Erich certainly "bothers" me for the simple fact that loss of such a thing IS unfortunate - but that's where it ends.

If you mean that Erich "bothers" me in the respect that it keeps me up at night; that he's on my mind 24-7; that I find it impossible to enjoy my day without 'worrying' about Erich "Milstadt" Mueller; that the things he does and says in regards to me "hurts" me at all, in any way; that he causes any kind of "problem" in my life...you're definitely barking up the proverbial wrong tree. :)
