...Blue Monday...

Quill's Title Tidbit: ***Blue Monday is a song that was covered on Orgy's album, Candyass. It's a really fucking good cover. That, and my favorite color is blue, and it's Monday. I give it seven out of ten Quills.***

(Yes, I did just go there, Hizzy. Sorry. The above is usually Hizzy's M.O. for her Hizzblog. I ganked it for today.)

If you scroll all the way to the bottom of my blog, you'll find a daily "Quote of the Day" curtousy of "Brainy Quote". This way, even on days I don't update, you'll have something new regardless. Boo-yah!

Things have been moderately quiet on the group front lately. I think it's because no one has been around to generate any conflict. That's a very good thing.

Picked up 'Saw' (awesome macabre thriller flick) on DVD. Also picked up 'The Forsaken' (awesome vampire flick) and 'Bloodsport' (awesome action/fighting flick). So that's three more into the uber-collection. Just recapping, there.

Erich's wedding is fast approaching. The only reason I bring up THAT can of worms is because I'm interested in who will be getting invitations. I'm going to be a little shocked if Heather and I get one. No, that doesn't mean I'm going - I'm not (and no, that doesn't mean it's "my loss". But it's going to be interesting nonetheless.

Tom and Anna are moving to Kansas City. This will give me a reason to drive to Kansas City now. I sympathize with the fact that they both have to leave friend and family behind; if you haven't already, check the blog before this one.

Whispers of the next big guy's night are in the works. More on that later, just decided it would be fun to mention it as a tease. Hehehe.

Scuba Steve loves to "flog the dolphin". Pass it on. (Explanation later.)

As I mentioned earlier, I had a very odd, VERY vivid dream Saturday night. It involved death, love, and memories. That's all I'm going to say...for now. I've decided to turn this dream into a short story, and thus will not reveal anything until it is time. 'Time' might very well be in a few weeks, or a few months. It just all depends on how fast my creative process flows. If it flows like it did with "The Hollywood Murders", it shouldn't be too long.

Speaking of "Hollywood", let's just say that it might not be a dead-and-gone issue. Jess, Scott...I'll fill you in soon. For those of you who have no idea - hell, I could keep you all waiting just to be a dick, but I'll be generous today (as I'm already keeping three things in suspense). "The Hollywood Murders" is a stage-play written by myself, Jess, and Scott (with some help from Question) back in the day. Most of the word-processing was done by me, save for maybe two or three scenes. Now you know.

When the Friday the 13th Box Set, "From Crystal Lake to Manhattan", first came out, there was a limited-edition Best Buy bonus disc included. I didn't get it until a couple of weeks after it came out, so obviously I didn't get it...until now. I found it on Ebay, and won it, after a couple of botched attempts. Now it seems they're nowhere to be bid on...my searches are yeilding nothing. That sucks if you don't have it and would want it (Nix); but it doesn't suck for ME. To quote the vernacular, I am most definitely 'the man'...

(This history thing I got from Hizzy's blog. I liked it so much, I used it, with one subtle difference; she has musical history, I put history history. "Imitation is a form of flattery." Scoff and cry out 'facsimile' and 'poser' if you wish; I fully admit it.)
